Lower Limb Biomechanics & Orthoses treatment
This is a practically orientated workshop designed to enhance your evaluation skills of the foot and lower limb and orthoses prescription skills.
Participants will gain a thorough introduction to lower limb anatomy and terminology. Practical breakout sessions include: assessment techniques, heat molding and fitting of prefabricated orthoses, taping techniques, orthoses prescription fine tuning.
Sagittal Plane Theory and 1st Ray Function Workshop:
This seminar is designed to enhance your understanding of Human Ambulation and the importance of correct sagittal plane function of the foot and ankle.
Pathologies associated with sagittal plane restrictions both anatomical and functional will be discussed, as will the use of orthoses along with practical demonstrations of manipulation techniques of the lower extremity.
