Drs. Armstrong and Dananberg Represent Podiatry on the Emerald Isle
In a whirlwind 48-hour tour of the Emerald Isle David G. Armstrong, DPM, PhD delivered six lectures and one keynote address, conducted two grand rounds and participated in the launch of a regional amputation prevention program in Ireland and Northern Ireland. "Podiatric medicine and patient education are advancing well on this island" noted Dr. Armstrong, Professor of Surgery and Director of the William M. Scholl College’s Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Surgery (CLEAR) at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

In addition to Grand Rounds appearances at Dublin’s famed Mater Misericordiae Hospital and Belfast’s University of Ulster, Dr. Armstrong participated in Galway with Principal Investigator, Dr. Sean Dinneen of the National University of Ireland, in the launch of the Western Ireland Diabetic Foot Study, a federally-sponsored project designed to screen high-risk patients and provide needed networks of interdisciplinary diabetic foot care.
Fellow renowned American Podiatrist Howard Dananberg, DPM also participated in the annual symposium of the Northern Ireland Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, April 25-26, which also doubled as the 25th anniversary of Northern Ireland Podiatry Graduates. Howard’s presentation “A 25 year perspective on sagittal plane biomechanics” was sponsored by Vasyli International. Howard also ran a very successful 1st ray biomechanics seminar in Dublin on Sunday 27th.

Howard Dananberg, DPM - visited Australia for 17 days during May to participate as a keynote speaker at the Australian Podiatry Assoc (APodA) NSW conference. Howard presented along with Phillip Vasyli, podiatrist and chairman of Vasyli International and Jenny McConnell, renowned physiotherapist and fellow Think Tank member. Howard also presented 3 very successful seminar workshops on 1st ray function and manipulation of the lower limb, in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney during his visit.

Vasyli Australia receives APA endorsement
After many months of independent evaluation, the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) formally announced its decision to offer their exclusive endorsement for Orthotic therapy products to Vasyli Medical. The award was presented by the APA's CEO David Malone and received on behalf of Vasyli Australia by CEO Chris Gallagher.
It is with great pride and pleasure that Vasyli accepts this endorsement from the APA.
Chris Gallagher made an announcement of his own at the meeting, confirming that Vasyli Australia has taken the Gold Sponsor opportunity for the Muscular Skeletal Specialty Group at the 2007 APA Conference in Australia in October.
Vasyli is extremely proud to have been awarded the status of the only orthotic product supplier to receive the APA's endorsement. The product range, ease of use and level of both patient and practitioner satisfaction were just some of the criteria's on which the products were evaluated.

Vasyli introduces the Vasyli McConnell range
Vasyli Think Tank Members Phillip Vasyli and Jenny McConnell have combined their many years of expertise to develop the new signature Vasyli McConnell range of orthotics. Initially focusing on product for women's shoes, two "slimfit" devices will be available from early 2008.
As many therapists and women know fitting a traditional orthotic in a women's heel or dress shoe is normally difficult to say the least. The new Vasyli McConnell devices will be designed to fit in nearly any type of women's heel or fashion shoe, providing support and alignment in the midfoot and under the metatarsal heads.

Vasyli Medical launches in United States Pedorthic
Vasyli has launched with specialty Pedorthic shoe and orthotic makers across the US. With close to 2000 board certified pedorthists across the US, we felt it was important to introduce the Vasyli and Orthaheel ranges to this skilled and knowledgeable group. Joining Vasyli to assist with sales and technical support is C. Ped. David Fischer who is a well known and long serving pedorthist from Taos, New Mexico.
Attending the annual Pedorthic Symposium in San Antonio, Texas, in November was a great way to introduce the company to the pedorthic industry. There was a great deal of interest in products like the Vasyli Dananberg orthotic and the Orthaheel orthotic sandals and we hope to build a loyal following with this group going forward. Having already signed up for next year's symposium and with plans to run CEU accredited workshops for pedorthists in 2008, we hope to introduce many more pedorthists to Vasyli in the years ahead.

Vasyli launches the 'Vasyli Dananberg'
In association with world renowned Podiatrist Dr Howard Dananberg, Vasyli Medical has developed and launched the first purpose designed pre made orthotic to treat first ray function with a removable first ray plug system. Director of the Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR), Dr. Armstrong is also an Associate Professor in Surgery, and an Associate Dean of Research for Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago.
David also contributes as co director for the annual Global Diabetic Foot Conference held in Hollywood, CA.
David's specialty is in the care of the diabetic foot. His ground breaking research and clinical experience is recognized and acknowledged around the world.
