Russell Volpe
Russell is a Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Orthopedics at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. For 13 years he served as Chair of the Department of Pediatrics. He is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.
He is co-editor with Peter Thomson of the Introduction to Podopediatrics, 2nd edition published in 2001 by Elsevier. Russell writes regularly on the child's foot and currently serves on the editorial advisory board of Podiatry Today magazine
He has lectured extensively across the United States at major scientific conferences and has been a regular participant at the annual International Foot Biomechanics/PFOLA conference. Internationally, Russell has lectured in Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe where he delivered the keynote presentation at the 2006 Dutch Podiatry Congress.
In November 2010 he presented an intensive pediatric podiatry course at the CESPU Institute of Podiatry in Gandra, Portugal.
Russell is in general private practice In Farmingdale, New York and in specialty foot and ankle pediatric practice in New York, New York.
